OK, but who (pick a culture) is Death?

How do Gods of the Dead work in Glorantha?

Do Humakt/Yanifal collect the deceased soldier (Victim of War) as he just dies?

Does Humakt's Portfolio spread further out, to all Deaths? Does Humakt dress up in Black Rags and carry around a Sickle? or is this an Earth God.

Is Malia a daughter of Humakt?

What is the process ones death follows? Do the dead 'spirits' just float/move off to the Hero Plane and join the lines of the dead ala Sartar: Kingdom of Heros - Orlanthi were just answered*, so now how about the West & Lunars...

Is there any Ferryman equivalent in Orlanthi*/Lunar/Western Myth?

Let's make this easier. A Lunar aristocrat in the Heartlands.

He's managed to avoid Death through war, disease, or accident. But our aristocrat knows that a Death has been assigned to him. He's spent his time evading it through piety and magic (and luck) but he knows that eventually Death will catch him. At some point his luck will fail and his magic will be too weak - he will die.

the healers too late. (Though an aneurism, being a wound, would be easy for a healer to cure if quick enough.) But what causes those in Glorantha?

Our Lunar believes that the Death assigned to him from birth is the cause. At first it tries to kill him through easy ways - war, disease, accidents and so forth. But eventually it will attack him other ways and succeed.
