	That is, in fact, pretty much exactly the definition of jargon
	(dictionary definition 'special words or expressions that are 
used by a particular profession or group and are difficult for others to understand', which is exactly what you just described)

        Whether or not we use obscure English terminology or obscure Gloranthan terminology, we should at least stop trying to redefine English words to mean other things just because we don't like the way they sound.
