The Ingareens held on to their traditions, but not their deity?

At the Dawn, the Malkioni survivors outside of Brithos were Brithini colonists who had modified their ways of life more or less, or remnants of the continental Kachasti who somehow survived the Darkness and the Vadeli/Dwarf alliance, or surviving participants of the Expulsion March. All they could know was Solace, Joy of the Heart was to be discovered by Hrestol.

Did the Ingareens somehow lose Solace?

The Esvularings appear to have kept some identity: a dialect of their own, and a set of shared experiences surviving (into) the Darkness (assuming that people without cultural heroes or before those heroes' revelations didn't make any new experiences in the Darkness or the Gray Age, but continued their survival scheme in timeless terror).

They seem to have made a virtue out of forgetting their earlier ways with the revelation of Hee, and their neighbors couldn't have cared less who they were before as long as they didn't cause trouble.

(And in case they caused trouble, there were well-proven methods to identify an enemy with a mythical opponent and draw magical benefits from that, without having to know the exact identity of the opponent.)
