Remember in Griffin Island where the players are given a map of the island with all kinds of information written on it but it is 100 years old
thus off just a little, or a lot

"Congratulations, players--your daring raid into the otherworld Library of Saint Research, you have these books. As always, they also contain a lot of useless information, and also "almost right" information. And you know it is already about 300 years out of date."

And for tiny price you can give all of your players *original out of date source books for the campaign*!
because some of it
is very, very good Glorantha work (Loz work = buy it) and some is less so
