The second edition content differs from the first in the following ways.
  1. Some canonical errors have been corrected.
  2. The second edition contains the entire Ralios section, which was excised from the first edition.
  3. It also contains a great deal of detail on Dangk and Hrelar Amali - not found elsewhere.
  4. The book also includes an extensive players guide from creating Gloranthan characters: all new material

So the differences are considerable, even though the core content is broadly similar.
