Hmm... the core quest in any initiation is a solo quest.
However, through devices like "The Arming of Orlanth" you can assign numerous people as named accoutrements of the hero.
Ok, it is not that glorious to participate in "Orlanth and Aroka" as Orlanth's lower left garter. But that's not the point of Phil's question, anyway.
