The Blue Moon is the daughter of Yelm and the Styx. When Yelm went belly-flopping through the Styx on his way to Hell, his heat turned the Styx that touched him into clouds of steam and mist. Annilla came from that cloud. That's why she could lead her son Lorion to the Sky, because he was a grandson of Yelm and grandsons of Yelm can live in the Sky.

Assuming, of course, that the Blue Moon is Anilla, and there are enough people who will argue that it isn't ...

/// Yup. Assuming, of course, that Annilla (Anhila ?) is ONE Blue Moon. There have been many. But I suspect they're all different facets of a unique Big Power.
