That or a cultist could eat people whilst undergoing voluntary possession by a ghost, so the ghost felt less hungry

Subject: Re: Cannibalism in Prax (was Bestiality in Prax?)
I had it in my head that they were Hungry Ghosts, not Angry Ghosts, and that this was probably because they died of Hunger rather than, say having their head chopped off.
My logic of why eating other people suppresses Hungry Ghosts was that the ghosts appreciated people doing something that they wished that they had done (or perhaps, they wanted other people to do what they had done so they felt less bad about it)

The Agimori survive because they are biologically adapted in a way that regular humans aren't and because they focus very aggressively on hunting. What do the Cannibal Cultists do for food other than have the occasional holiday feast of mock-pork? It seems unlikely that they can be as effective as hunters as the Agimori, since they lack the Men-and-a-Half's special adaptations, and the Agimori are a pretty marginal group, just barely surviving when compared to the Beast Nomads. I guess it seems likely to me that cannibalism is the particular adaptive strategy that the CC uses to survive.
