I remember seeing a drawing (by Dario Corello ?) in one of the praxian issues of ToRM showing a scorpion-zebra : zebra head, stripes, six legs (with hooves), two arms, one stinger.

In the Riskland campaign (Dorastor), there is a SIZ 1 or 2 scorpionman which supports the others with spells, and stabs at PCs' feet with a needle.

I have used in the far past chaotic poisons : acid-squirting stinger, petrifying venom, etc. The idea was that PCs should not be too sure of what's coming out of the sting. Keeps'em on their toes.
