I play with a bunch of teenagers - so I keep the character sheets. Otherwise we would never have any sheets at all :-))))
/// Eh. Actually the teenarger (Big Paw) does bring his character sheet along. He's a 14 years old and plays with his father at my table, the way my daugther played with us, before she had to focus on studies. It's good to have younger people at the table.
