Vadeli always do the correct, Logical, thing, and that means always supporting other Vadeli, who are your brothers and understand the Logical value of mutual support. Of course, from time to time, it may be necessary for the biological Matter (flesh) and spiritual Energy (vulgarly called soul) of an individual Vadeli to support his brothers and sisters in some other manner (such as being consumed to give another youth or power, being sacrificed to some entity, becoming the host body for some creature, having the body and soul flensed so the constituent parts may be used to create specialised magical items, sent on some suicide missions (perhaps without being informed in advance that it is such), etc).
Vadeli understand the Logical inevitability of such, and certainly wouldn't argue that they had some special right to expect their fellows to put their self-interest aside, the Logical Vadeli are well beyond such empty sophistry. Nonetheless, they may be pleased when it is not them who are chosen.

And, of course, not all Vadeli regard non-Vadeli as customers (especially as not all Vadeli are brown). Some non-Vadeli are obstacles to be removed and may be if less value as customers than as sources of raw materials, trade goods or experimental subjects. All, of course, have potential utility - if they are so careless to let that exceed their value as customers, that requires a change in the relationship, one that some former customers may find disappointing.

	Cheers

		David
