The Guide is comprehensive background to the cultures, history, and places of Glorantha. The whole damn lozenge. And the skies (yes the planets and major stars there as well). And the Elder Races. There is some discussion of various types of magic, but it is done in a neutral manner as opposed to game mechanics. That being said, Ian and I have both "playtested" the Guide and found that with it, we can run HQ2 games pretty much anywhere.

Our goal is that this is *the* foundational book for anything else to come. Whether that book uses rules for HQ2, RQ6, Pathfinder, computer game, or whatever. That means that in the future we can do smaller books to detail a specific region or cult, but how it fits within the big picture is already there.
