Right. If you only have a couple of clan members who can bless barns, it's much easier for them to go to the barns in question rather than extend the blessing to the whole tula (or bring the barns to them).

Well, maybe. The whole bloodline can't leave the stead at once, especially not for a few days, so some of the Holy Day ceremonies (at least) have to be done "at a distance" or with a visiting pro. Although I can see a scenario revolving around taking a few perfect cows to the yearly Uldra blessing and the troubles getting them there and back in "perfect" condition.
Some blessings can be done for the whole clan in once place -- the fyrd muster, for example, but some are going to have to be done locally.
