You are accurately reporting the view of a Heortling, or perhaps a Lunar (for the cyclic part). Unfortunately, you are reporting their OPINION as a fact.

The Dara Happans certainly believe in linear time before The Dawn. Just look at the chronology of the Glorious Reascent of Yelm. IIRC the western sorcerers (Brithini) do too (and in their case, can actually witnessed some of the events).
