Por cierto, curioseo, el poema original de Tolkien está mal traducido en la versión española.
El refrán inglés equivalente a "no es oro todo lo que reluce" es "All that glitters is not gold". Y el poema de Bilbo hace una especie de juego de palabras diciendo "All that is gold does not glitter". No todo oro reluce. O sea, Trancos, el montaraz (ranger) es "oro" pero no brilla.
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken:
The crownless again shall be king.
