Gentlemen,

Please take the ad hominem stuff off the list. If someone asks a question to which your response cannot be constructive, just don't send a reply.

If someone replies in a way that makes your blood boil, just ignore it.

In either case, failing the ability to ignore ego-laden postings, a simple "please let's take this discussion off-list" will suffice.
