:-) I had given the leader Hard Bastard 17 in both Physical and Mental Skills. The others had Ned 14 and Obnoxious Attitude 12

Oh yes. There may have been consequences but I usually like to give them time to ferment. The night's play would go on, unless the players decide to completely go off track of course!, and then the consequences would add to the plot tracks I have already thought out.

Like I said originally. I didn't want to encourage this kind of behaviour. In my experience it tends to ruin a campaign as it dissolves into bad behaviour which only the NPCs can win! :-) No fun for the GM who has to twist things to allow the PCs a chance or has to kill the players and thereby often not very much fun for the players.

The responsibility lies with both players and GM though. I write up the sessions and talk them over with the players. We do try to understand what is required by the game for it to work, sometimes though it takes time to settle into a different style of play, especially if the background, like Glorantha, demands it.

I reckon the bow assassins might work better in a Glamour campaign with Lunar nobles getting bumped off left right and centre...
