Hmmm. This is pretty broadening for this sort of ability. I'd allow it, but add a whole mastery to the release roll difficulty. A trick for very experienced shamans only. After all, the spirit was bound by the practitioner to themselves - unlike charms which don't have relationships. It's very personal.
Here's an analogy. It's like having a relationship with somebody and asking them to sleep with somebody not yourself as a favor. It could happen, but it's that much more problematic.
