Remember, we intentionally don't include too much detail about what anything does, so if the players *want* exploding thunderstones (with appropriate sparkler effects like a Star Trek bridge console exploding), then why not?
On the other hand, it's a *Thunder* stone, not a *Lightning* stone (and Yavor has the patent on Lightning) so....
