Guys -

Just for clarification, here's BA on the Pol Joni:

"The Pol Joni are horse-riding nomads who live on the borders of Prax. They have always been associated with the tribes of Sartar due to their common religion and Dundealos ancestry. When the Lunars disbanded the Dundealos, many joined their cousins in the Poljoni, forming the new Potor Clan. The Poljoni do not organize as a tribe in the same way as do the Sartari. Instead, each clan rules itself independently."

I think it is pretty clear that the Pol Joni have "always been associated" with Sartar.

I think these are both pretty bad examples. The Pol Joni are "always" associated with the Sartarites and claim a common ancestry with the Dundealos. Doesn't mean they don't raid the Sartarites when they get the chance (then again the Sartarites raid the Sartarites when they get the chance), but it does mean that they are probably willing to aid the Sartarites against foreign foes (in exchange for gifts, silver, plunder, etc.). Then again, they are Orlanthi and reserve the right to let the Sartarites get screwed by the Lunars.
