If the situation is dramatic enough for the character to go Berserk it is probably dramatic enough for an Extended Contest if you do those (my players are a bit allergic to the idea).

If it HAS to be a Simple Contest, I'd make it Deathsong Berserk versus the enemy morale - with death as the result of anything short of a Complete Victory.
Any other level of Victory would hold the enemy back, for long enough and the better the level the more foes he drags down to Hnmakt's Hall.
