Dunno. From guesswork, since KTS is translated as Great Destroying Warrior Planet, my guess is that Kab means Great and Solf means Destroying leaving Tolat as the Warrior Planet which sounds about right.

Sa also looks like it means great but is probably used in the context of Somash and related cults.

They don't look particularly exceptional to me given that they are all common religions.

AFAIK Chal wasn't a sorcerous hero but a solar one so he wouldn't teach grimoires.

The Book of Well Being is a Common Magic condensation of the Works of Chal, while the Chal's Rules are a similar common magic grimoire created for a sorcerous cult (Alen whom I think comes from the Yellow Elves).

The Teshnan cult is a common religion so the affinity is common magic rather than theistic. As for the cults being a cross, that's true for Alen Somash Sa, Marnali Har (in origin from Vithela) and any other Teshnan cult.
