No more than anyone else. Gods will (most likely) withold their magic, Spirits might or might not stick around or might want to renegotiate theior contracts, he might have a grimoire but might also be prohibited from connecting to it in the Essence Planes - it depends on the individual "cult" he is leaving. However, Sevening *does* protect against Agents of Reprisal (see page 30 "Abandoning the Lunar Way" - it works on all agents of Reprisal, not just Lunar ones).
