The thought had crossed my mind. Also, there are huge yearly caravans that wind across Pent. Also, those poor folks who don't get along with the Mandrins (and don't want to flee to the Kingdom of Ignorance) might take a one-way passage across the Waste to the 'bright and free' cities of the Empire...

...but I like the idea of a Kralorton ghettos in Glamour. Of course, there's probably a restaurant that JUST serves poisonous food... cooked properly, of course.
