Except we have myths that show he DOES have something to do with death by old age, etc. He is the seperation of death - the quick over here, the dead over there. However the death happened.

Absolutly. Humakt is the line - he has little to do with either side of the line, only with crossing over.

But as any Heortling will tell you, just because they don't acknowledge him, doesn't mean his power doesn't effect them. The fact that they die is sufficient proof. And if you need more proof that they are subject to the power of Humakt, let them face my sword...
