And contrariwise: the Heartland Corps units will obey the terrible, genocidal, nay, *deicidal* orders of their commanding officers (in a disciplined yet remorseless manner), whereas the Provincial natives will better understand native sensibilities (and, yes, I grant you this includes understanding how to offend the natives, if necessary, through acts of deliberate arbitrariness, barbarity, etc.).

Which is to say: it ain't necessarily better to have the disciplined Heartland Corps stationed near your plucky Gaul^H^H^H^H Sartarite village.

The difference in "flavours" is well worth exploring.
