The website is dead, but Multisim isn't.
The company's in pretty bad shape though. Eric gave a pretty good idea of what's up (and what isn't).
This situation may come to a halt in the beginning of September, but it could drag on until April 2004. The later date is not unlikely, as Multisim is basically a profitable company saddled with a large pile of bad debt.
OTOH they are being forced to drastically cut down on publications, which is likely to adversely affect profitability.
The facts of the matter are only known by very few people, but rumours are rife. If you hear something about Multisim that sounds like a conspiracy theory or whatever, don't believe it, don't spread it.
If the company does snuff it, you'll hear about it from reliable sources.
