One thing that was being discussed at one point was the wounded god
from the Machine City - the one that powered the magic swords.
If the Lunars heroquested and wounded that god again, all the swords would start working again...
...which is why strange people are wandering around buying all these old worthless "magic" swords that everyone knows are worthless.
