I agree, it is bitter. Of course, it is difficult to picture Humakt the Happy.

I suppose following this would have interesting effects. In our session, the encounter with the Lady/Eurmal was meant to set Humakt on the road to the main events. I just added the severing of the road as a device to wrap up part one, and because I loved the image. Maybe this part of the quest might be used alone by a clan seeking to defeat the lies of another, or strengthen their abilities to discover truths hidden by illusion?
