Depends on what you use.
The material I used let me work in -40 C weather. The older material
and the woolies didn't... Particuarly if they got wet. Hollow-fill
and gortex with a wolf-fur trimmed parka (they still can't beat that
sadly) with good leather/gortex mukluks.
