We saw "Pirates of the Caribbean" last night. I'm not claiming any historical accuracy for it, but the use of oars in addition to sails was made clear as an advantage. Watch it for dramatic bits you might want to borrow for a naval game.

Intent on plundering anything and anyone in sight, I think. Boldhome, 1630, wasn't exactly a Lunar stronghold.
