Its indeed possible that the farmer may not care very much, but I doubt
the same is true for educated Malkioni. The Rokari Church's conception
of the Invisible God is, after all, inextricably tied up with the Law
rune, which certainly suggests a dislike for Chaos. Elves are evil,
because they seek to destroy civilisation and damn mankind to Hell by
denying them access to the Holy Church. Broo are a worse evil because,
being chaotic, they want to destroy the whole of God's creation. There
are many times that that distinction won't matter, to be sure (being
damned to eternal Hell is not, after all, a barrel of laughs), but that
doesn't mean that they can't or won't make it at all.
