No, they're 32" overall length, it says. From the picture, the blade is less than 2/3 of that.. say 24", max? That's a pair of short-swords. Broadswords would be 28" blade length, minimum (mine's 32")

Balance point would be well back, despite the lack of a pommel (yes, it's got a spike instead). Slashing weapon, very effective at close quarters, I'd say. I like....
