Durulz and rinliddi

Or how about, they have some similiarity to birds but are not.

That is, if you were from Europe and went to Africa and found gorillas, would you think, "Wow, they are just like us so they must be humans!"?

I myself do not think of the durulz as birds, though we in fact know (from Eastern mythology) that they were once more like birds than now (that is, if you believe they come from that mythos.)

YGWV of course, and since ducks were always intended by me to be comic elements, I thinkyou ought to do whatever is MGF.
