It seems then, going by your earlier list of options, that you shouldn't underestimate Field Work. She Who Waits is sufficiently mysterious, that convincing Tarshites that she isn't *really* Ernalda seems possible.

I also seem to recall someone else in another discussion sometime saying that this is an incomplete merger. She Who Waits isn't really Ernalda, and so you would have less work to do. I'm also fairly convinced it is a local phenomenon (I don't think Lunars in the Heartlands think She Who Waits is really Ernalda) so all these things contribute to a better chance of success than you might have in other cases.

But it sounds like one hell of a fun campaign. LC
