To add some more advice:
- The traditionalist Ernaldan character would be good at interacting
with people with Sartarites and possibly people from other "Orlanthi"
cultures.
- The Ulerian could be helpful in interacting with foreigners -
except for uptight Solar types (Dara Happans, or the various
Yelmalians). If the game is set during the Lunar Occupation this
might be valuable, and provide a reason for the Ulerian to be allowed
to stay. In a more Heortling-oriented campaign I would suggest
compromising on a Helering, because of the hostility to Uleria in
Heortling society (or you might invoke YGMMV to change that aspect).
- The Odaylan is a bit more of a problem. Obviously the character
could be good as a scout but that doesn't seem to work well with the
other two. Perhaps a Vingan or possibly a Bevaran who could interact
with male characters on a different basis than the other two might be
a good idea ?
Perhaps the characters could be front-women for the women's council ?
Charged with taking overt action to look after the women's interests
while the real leaders stay behind the scenes ?
