IMC, the worship of Uleria comes about in a few ways. Sometimes, like Trickster, the adolescent just seems called to it. They 'just can't stop.' And without the label of Ulerian, the parents would probably have to stone the kid. If everyone KNOWS he or she is Ulerian, then the society can say 'well it's your damn fault you slept with the Ulerian.' And the responsibility is the non-Ulerian's.

Foreign ways of worshiping Uleria are probably taking hold in places. My Enfrewstead has Ulerians hanging out having a picnic while the place burns. The Pharaoh kept them around and now that he's gone, they just spend their time being indolent and refined.

And the third way is the threat of every clan girl who just can't be what the Heortlings want her to be. "If I can't marry Hreothgard, I'm running off to Alda-Chur to be an Ulerian!" Oh misery, shame and scandal in the family.
