Well, some of them we do on-camera when it looks like fun. Even if we agree from the start that it'll be a success, how the hero reacts to it can be interesting to explore.

It's an unfinished Kallyr story, and it's sort of making a point about the kind of thing *she* regards as so normal and everyday that you don't bother going into details. "No self-respecting experimental heroquester...". I don't (yet) have any games running at that sort of level.

Well, since I don't take either of those attitudes...
Perhaps the point here is that heroquests are risky, they are not, for most PCs, "no self-respecting hero...". So you're probably going to have a contest. So it'll be on-screen.
