You forget the riding beast designed by a committee: the camel (especially the two-humped Asian variety).
If those Pentans weren't horse-fetishists, I'd place camel breeding right there, and maybe in Ignorance, too.
The camel does have a Gloranthan origin myth, after all: it was born after Ratslaff spooked Mother Mammal (or more likely, Mother Ungulant) badly.
The only camelid Hsunchen I know of are the High Llama ones of Ralios.
