And i am sure i will LOVE the new edition, but i have one concern:

HQ 2.0 is aimed at ALL settings.
And Rick stated that he plans to publish setting books for a lot of different settings.

My concern is that even if we get MORE HQ books, we will see LESS gloranthan books, because one person can only edit, layout etc. only a small amount of books at the same time, and while someone layouts, edits etc. OTHER settings, gloranthan book MIGHT get delayed even more than they already are.

If I would be publisher (which i am not... its hard enaugh to keep Tradetalk running) i would present HQ 2.0 as a universal system for ALL settings, but would license all other settings other than glorantha out to other publishers.

Only some thought...
I dont want to RuneQuest take over Glorantha completely...

Cheers

Just to let folk know - I just finished my last edits to the new Glorantha magic rules for HQ 2.0 and the team is making the final spell-checks and similar edits. Art will still take a little more time, but the contents of this baby are pretty much finished.

And boy is it cool. Really cool. Really fantastically cool.

heard a new edition was coming out with some substantially new mechanics, I sort of put my HQ plans on hold - and it's been quite a while now. Is the edition still do to launch at Continuum? And is Blood Over Gold finally going to be available in hard copy then? Basically it comes down to waiting till Auguist on my part, plus i have a lot of rpg commisions ot work on for strict deadlines, so my HQ playing is very limited till late summer...
