That's it in a nutshell, yep. But at the same time, you can also have
instances where the two directly compete. Frame the contest as Kris and
Lilly jockeying for position in the final straightaway, then call for die
rolls which flash back to tough portions of the course. Did Kris take that
turn too wide? Did Lilly stress the frame of his racer too severely? That
gets revealed piece by piece and you narrate the way in which those "past"
actions affect that final run to glory. And if no one is at five points by
the time you've exhausted all your ideas, have it come down to a direct
competition and a winner-takes-all roll at the finish line.
