US $120? Not in a hurry. I'd want it, might save up for it, might
eventually get it. However at that point, for me, it is competing with
things like going on a weekend trip with the family or replacing that
sagging chair in the living room, rather than buying a couple of books
or going our for an evening with friends.
I guess everyone has their resistance points. For me up to about
$35-$40 (US) I would have bought it within a month of when I did, much
more and it would have pushed my purchase ever farther back.
This is probably a reflection that Glorantha has been around for a long
time, so a lot of its fans may make good money, but find that less of
it is disposable income.
I agree with the general point that KoDP was an incredible bargain for
the quality and amount of play in it.
Not that I'm offering to sent Dave a cheque or anything....although I
may try and buy him a drink at Gloranthacon.
