*I see it as a variant on the Gbaji story. An empire of good wants to spread their peace and happiness to other people. They just need you to accept that chaos belongs in the world, alongside the acts of creation and benevolence. And if you refuse to accept this voluntarily, they have ways of putting pressure on you (like destroying all of the temples of you own gods).*

*The Sartarites, however, refuse to accept the inclusion of chaos into the Way Things Are, knowing that this will just lead to the dissolution of the world in the end. They are the only ones strong enough to refuse peace.*

*(Note, the peace itself is also a lie, since the empire constantly has war on its borders as it expands to new people. Good men and women are taken from their homes to fight in this endless war. But the lie works, since the war in no longer on your doorstep.)*
