To me, Zorak Zoran is the archetypal Dark Troll, created long before fire invaded Hell on his encounter in the "Three Curious Spirits" myth (Trollpak, sidebar p.5 or so). He encounters the enemy-to-be and is terribly marked by it. It is his defining moment, the separation from the rest of formless darkness. A Green Age theme (although predating Green Age by several cosmological ages).

His creation of Zombies is (to me, again) nothing but a continuation of his berserking. Zorani Zombies will continue to fight even after death.
