Well, that does not really answer the question, but is a good point in its own right.

However, one could see that not as cultural change as much as policy. While EWF is obviously a huge social expiriment by the Dragonewts, I am not sure that it evinces a major cutural shift as opposed to a political one (and I recognize that culture and politics can be quite intertwined).

And I can't really buy the argument that, while the Dragonewts shared some of the most profound secrets of Draconic wisdom, they would not have shared one of their usual everyday tools, as the Korff is described in WF14. Also, it makes little since that, if the Korff is part of official continuity, that the Klanth, the more mystic and ceremonial weapon, would be a common status symbol and intrinsic part of Wyrm Friend advancement, but the Korff would be somehow hidden or withheld.

In any case, nothing in the Subsequent Third Age publications have any reference to the Korff, which makes me believe that the answer to my question, which is likely of interest only to me, is that there is not a Korff in the "settled" continuity of Glorantha at this time.

But, as always, YGMV
