One of the ways my Glorantha varies is that "this God has this set of runes" doesn't really happen.
If a God was ever presented as having a some set of runes then they do to some culture that worships them.
Which yes, means that "Yelm" is actually slightly different in different places/cultures.

To me this is sort of how you would see different Athenas from different areas. People sort of acknowledged they were the same, but there were differences and different rituals.

So yeah, IMG, there is probably a Yelm that has Death and Life/Fertility as runes. It may be that as I looked more closely at Yelm, I decided he wielded those powers through two other gods and so that wouldn't be the case. Or maybe, as ruler of the universe, he holds both.

All aspects of Orlanth have Air, outside of that... there's a fair amount of variety.

This makes far more sense to me than fixing a God down to one set of runes everywhere.

Really do want to see the rules. I hope/expect there aren't too many mutually exclusive pairs.
