Dadamus, the True Being of Darkness, is said in revealed mythologies
to have different methods
of dealing with demons based on who is speaking (Zzaburi or
Malkioni). Rather than have to
make a decision one way or the other, I think Dadamus is followed
using both methods.
>But what about Church wizards, and people venerating a saint. Is the

>like a theists god?
Saints and True Beings embody the truth of the Cosmos and make it
available to their
followers. Xemela is Healing, Gerlant (among others) is War and
Zzabur is magic.
>If a wizard wants to learn fire magic, does he then initiate into
>the mysteries of St. Gerlant
>to gain access to the rune of fire?
Gerlant isn't the fiery saint (although he does wield a flaming
sword). The True Being of Fire
is Ehilm (not the Aeolian cult, the real one). Since Ehilm had the
sin of pride, his followers
are similarly afflicted and so it's a dubious path to choose. A
better route of gaining fire
powers is emulating Zzabur in the Wars of Low Magic (specifically
Zzabur and the Truth
(RM p7)).
