You might not. But then you'd probably be surprised how often that comes up in real world mythology. Plowing does not make the crops ripe or the earth fertile - even bronze age farmers in the Lusatian culture recognized that. The plow moves the Earth and exposes it to the Air (which is an echo of the myth of Orlanth Wooing Ernalda).
