I don't see why they can't. It would be weird if a gloranthan could look at a naked flame, for example, and _not_ be able to tell what rune it's from using his magical vision. Ergo the gloranthans must be able to see what runes the other gloranthans have (not in terms of their runes, in terms of _his_ runes).
