It is good to get some clarity on this issue. As it says on the blog some of the scales on the published maps are way out. On an earlier post Gregg wrote:

"Measuring from just south of Wilmskirk to the edge of Snakepipe Hollow, Sartar is approximately 125 miles, and from the Marsh to the edge of Prax, about 100 miles." and also: "The breadth of the Lunar Empire is supposed to be approximately 1000 miles by 1000 miles."
